Municipal approval has been given, the site has been picked and the design selected. With the planning stages complete, the only thing standing in the way of our future Mount Forest splash pad is the funding to get the project completed.

The Mount Forest Aquatic Committee has partnered with the Mount Forest Lions Club to raise funds for the future Splash Pad, a proud addition to Wellington North. The goal is to raise funds for the Let’s Build it Campaign to see the Splash Pad built in Lion Bill Moody Park by the end of summer, 2019. The much-anticipated water amenity is the first of two proposed phases (the second being the replacement of the Lion Roy Grant Pool) for Mount Forest’s community aquatic overhaul, with the splash pad coming with a price tag of approximately $200,000.

The partnership believes that this project will enhance our community by providing a gathering place for all ages and abilities.
